Sourdough Chocolate Cake Truffle

Sourdough cake truffles are like cake pops without the stick. Sourdough cake doesn’t taste “sour” since the sweetness offsets any sour flavors from the sourdough starter. These cake truffles are made by mixing sourdough chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream frosting, rolling them into balls, then dipping them in chocolate. They are refined sugar free and nut free.
